Kinfolo helps parents photograph or upload the drawings, crafts, and school
projects that come home in a folder. Families can keep the original artwork,
the child's own words, age, date, materials, and notes together, revisit related
pieces in digital Folios, and share selected artwork with grandparents through
private Family Shows. Kinfolo works in a browser and can be added to a home
screen as a PWA.

Kinfolo is a private family gallery for children's artwork, stories, and voice
notes. Parents can save kids' artwork with the child's own words, age, date,
materials, and family notes; organize it by child, time, and theme; revisit
creative threads in digital Folios; and share selected pieces with grandparents
or close family through private Family Shows.

## Current Product Capabilities

- Capture or upload children's artwork from a phone, tablet, or desktop
  browser.
- Prepare artwork photos with compression, crop, rotation, mirror, edge
  correction, perspective correction, and HEIC or HEIF handling.
- Save child profile, age, date, materials, tags, family notes, child voice, and
  transcription with each artwork, with the child's own words first.
- Use optional AI for photo cleanup and editable titles, descriptions, tags,
  structured artwork notes, and gentle parent-child conversation prompts.
- Revisit artwork in a private Gallery with search, filters, favorites,
  multi-select organization, editing, download, soft delete, and recovery.
- Bring related pieces into digital Folios and notice ideas that keep returning.
- Share selected pieces with grandparents or close family through private
  Family Shows with link controls.
- Use Guestbook-style family comments on shared shows.

## Product Boundaries

- Kinfolo is private by default, with no public social feed, likes, rankings, or
  public comparison.
- Kinfolo is not an education assessment, diagnosis, talent-ranking, or
  child-scoring system.
- AI helps with organizing, not meaning. It does not judge the artwork,
  interpret the child, or replace the child's own words and family notes.
- Parents control what is saved and shared. Kinfolo does not sell family
  artwork or personal information.
- Kinfolo's current digital service does not include physical print ordering or
  fulfillment.
- Kinfolo is a PWA that can be used in a browser and added to a home screen; it
  is not positioned as a native App Store or Google Play download.
- Kinfolo's local-first draft experience improves reliability, but browser
  local storage should not be described as a permanent backup.
